Bioklone
Series II Biological Containment Hoods
The Bioklone Series II Biological Containment Hoods are both CSA
and NSF International approved and are designed to protect the operator,
the product, and the environment. The Type A cabinets are suitable
for work agents assigned Biosafety Levels 1, 2, or 3 in the absence
of volatile toxic chemicals and radionuclides. The Type B3 cabinets
are suitable for agents assigned to Biosafety levels 1,2, or 3 treated
with minute quantities of volatile chemicals and tracer amounts
of radionuclides as an adjunct to microbiological studies that will
not interfere with the work when re-circulated in the down-flow
air.
The Bioklone Series II Biological Containment Hoods feature a special
exterior chemical resistant paint finish. The interior work zone
is manufactured from Type 304 stainless steel with all coved corners
for easy cleaning. The air is filtered through HEPA filters, 99.99%
efficient in all particles 0.3 microns and larger. The HEPA filters
are easily replaced from the front of the hood. More

Captair
Ductless Fume Hoods
Recommended for the handling and elimination by filtration
of gases, vapors, particles, toxics, and odors, the Captair ductless
fume hoods can be used in all laboratories (analytical, research,
control, industrial, educational, etc.) for all handlings involving
acids, solvents, gases, vapors, dusts, and odorous materials (toluene,
alcohol, xylene, formaldehyde, sulfuric acid, etc.).
Without ducting, the Captair ductless fume hoods can be assembled
and operational in one hour. Placed on a Mobicap rolling cart, they
can be moved easily within your lab according to your needs and
in complete safety. Easily assembled and disassembled. Captair hoods
are easily moved from one work surface to the next: electrical connections
only require a simple standard plug. Access to fluid and electrical
cables for the connection of instruments placed within the enclosure
is done by removing the plastic cap from the round opening found
on the hood?s back panel.
The user is completely protected from spills thanks
to a synthetic glass door resistant to high temperatures. All the
electrical components are located outside the enclosure and protected
from corrosion or flammable gases. All electrical components have
been approved according to manufacturing standards: CE, DIN, etc.

The
Absolute Console Series Laminar Flow Workstation
The revolutionary "Absolute" concept eliminates the risk
of a leaking seal by permanently installing the HEPA filter into
a disposable plenum. This means the filter seal is completely eliminated,
thus only the filter media is under direct air pressure and, since
there are no seals used in the "Absolute" concept, no
seals can leak. Another advantage of the "Absolute" concept
is that when the HEPA filter becomes contaminated to the point where
it is no longer effective in reference to velocities through the
filter, the entire filter and plenum are disposed of and a new replacement
unit, intact, is substituted. The conventional method of replacing
HEPA filters is quite involved, time consuming and costly. The "Absolute"
concept eliminates this extensive and expensive process since the
plenum and the HEPA filter are integral. The cost and efficiency
advantages are obvious.
The cost of replacing the filter/plenum is less expensive than
filter replacement service and certification.

Vertical
& Horizontal Laminar Flow Workstations
- Cleanliness Level:
Provides better than Class 100 conditions per US Federal Standard
209E.
- Air Velocity: 90
± 20 ft/min average when measured four inches from filter
face.
- Prefilter: Disposable
medium efficiency (40% by ASHRAE STD 52-68) pleated type.
- HEPA Filter: Standard
filter 99.99% minimum efficiency. Efficiency determined by standard
DOP (dioctylphthalate) aerosol challenge. Efficiency rated for
all particulates 0.3 microns and larger.
- HEPA Filter Mounting:
All HEPA filters are sealed using our exclusive ZERO BY-PASS PLENUM
TECHNIQUE.
- Blower: Direct
drive configuration with forward-curved squirrel cage dynamically
balanced and permanently lubricated wheel. No maintenance required.
- Blower Isolation:
Blower are mounted on vibration isolator frames.
- Noise Level: Less
than 65db on the "A" scale at operator's working position.
- Vibration Level:
Essentially vibration free at-work surface because work table
need not be coupled to main frame.
- Certification:
All units factory leak checked and certified before shipment using
calibrated DOP photometer and generator.
- A Variety of Sizes and Configurations Are Available.
