FIREBOY Bunsen Burners
FIREBOY
Plus Mobile Bunsen Burner with Non-Touch Sensor Ignition
Flame sterilization is of central importance in microbiological laboratories with respect to safety. Bunsen burners have been used for decades as standard equipment for routine work in biological laboratories. However, during all of this time, they have been responsible for most laboratory fires. The FIREBOY Plus Bunsen Burner, on the other hand, combines all the functional advantages of flame sterilization with the highest safety standards of modern laboratory technology.
Safety
The FIREBOY Plus confers a high degree of lab safety by not having a pilot
flame. Unique features such as excess temperature protection, flame monitor,
and alarm display add to its safety and reliability.
Mobile
The FIREBOY Plus is highly mobile and easily moved around the lab. Using
a battery and gas cartridge, it can also be used without permanent power
or gas supply. Alternatively, it can be connected to a permanent power
and gas supply.
Three Modes of Operation
- Sensor - This non-touch sensor window registers an object,
which passes by slowly at a maximum distance of 6 to 8 cm, and automatically
ignites the flame.
- Foot Switch - This ignites the instrument only when the foot
switch is activated and switches off automatically five minutes after
the last activation.
- Continuous - The duration of burning, between 10 and 60 minutes, is regulated via a timer.
FIREBOY Eco Bunsen Burner
The FIREBOY Eco provides the same safety features as the FIREBOY Plus,
but operates by foot switch only and does not offer battery operation.
